Research & Development in Power Engineering (RDPE)
The 15th conference on Research & Development in Power Engineering (RDPE) ended yesterday, having been considered – bearing in mind the challenges which the sector of power engineering has been facing – a vital event to shape both Poland’s and the European energy sector.
Organized by the Institute of Heat Engineering (WUT), and the Institute of Applied Research (WUT) in collaboration with the Committees on Energy, Thermodynamics and Combustion, Polish Academy of Sciences, the conference was held in Poland between November 30th and December 3rd. Having, over the years, become a leading forum for discussing issues related to the engineering power sector, this edition counted on many area experts and researchers, including the Institute of Power Energy (IEN) team to present the study “Petroleum coke and refuse-derived fuel co-firing enhanced with hydrogen in an industrial cement kiln – a CFD study”, carried out within the RETROFEED project.
